This Sunday, with the classic of the Costa Rican football, the program leaded by GBM Costa Rica, “A Goal for Education” was launched.  To this initiative also adhered, Grupo Pellas, Grupo Electrotecnica, Blue Valley School, Lincoln School y the two teams in first division Liga Deportiva Alajuelense and Deportiov Saprissa.

This social responsibility program commits to provide a bag or kit for education, with 13 ipads, connection to internet and seminars on the use of technology in education, to organizations supporting children, young people and disabled people or elderly people and by this initiative to close the digital divide in vulnerable sectors of the Costa Rican population.

With each goal “home” scored by the teams Liga Deportiva Alajuelense or Deportivo Saprissa, a kit will be given to education.  The list of 26 initial beneficiaries is published in www.ungolporlaeducación.com and any organization interested to be considered as beneficiary of the program could register in this site.

Blue Valley School and Lincoln School are the first educational centers in Costa Rica to adopt ipad as the educational platform,  years ago, using the service GET (GBM Education Technology).  It is of great value for the centers to support the program “A Goal for Education”, since  their experience will provide the education to the beneficiaries, of how to use the devices to resolve educational methodologies.

This program was signed last Thursday in a press conference with main communication channels in Costa Rica.
